This vessel is shaped as an infinite loop — a quiet symbol of continuity, passage, and return. Thrown and altered by hand, the ring form opens a hollowed centre that frames space itself, transforming the act of holding flowers into an act of looking.
Fired in a gas kiln, the surface is swept with smoky blacks, ash, and flashes of mineral marking— evidence of flame and atmosphere recorded directly onto clay. The glaze breaks and shimmers along the curve like a night sky interrupted by light.
Both sculpture and vessel, this piece stands as an object of grounding and gravity, inviting stems to punctuate its circular stillness.
One of a kind.
